Hi everybody, just a little bit of information about our wedding with some frequently ask questions ! If there’s anything else you would like to ask, feel free to drop either of us a message!
Where is the wedding?
Our entire wedding will be taking place at Ettington Park Hotel in Stratford upon Avon. During our special day (and night) we have hired the venue just for us. So everyone you see will be part of our wedding!
Do we need transport?
Our entire wedding will be held in this one location so there is no need to worry about transport . There is also a large car park enough for everybody’s vehicles!
Where should I stay?
We would recommend spending the night in our gorgeous venue as it is a beautiful four star hotel and means you can stagger to bed after the celebrations. (4.5 on trip advisor!)
What else is there to do in the area?
Stratford is a beautiful part of the Midlands! It is famous for the one and only William Shakespeare and also over 800 years of history.
Stratford Upon Avon centre is arond 8 miles from the hotel and a 20 min drive dependant on traffic.
Here at the hotel and as part of your overnight stay you will have full use of the tennis courts, beautiful grounds and spa, so no need to go anywhere! The restaurants food is also very good.
Does the overnight stay include breakfast?
Yes! There will be a hot breakfast served the morning after our wedding (whether you wake up in time is up to you).
What time should I arrive on the day?
The ceremony will begin at 1.00pm so we would advise you arriving around midday so you can check in at the front desk with your bags, relax ad find your seat!
(Rooms will not be available to enter until 3 pm, however all of your luggage will be taken in and placed into your rooms by the hotel staff so there is no stress)
What should I wear?
Come dressed to impress!
We please ask for black tie: We ask men to wear a tuxedo or a suit and tie.
Women to wear an evening gown or a midi- or knee-length cocktail dress. We would encourage you to wear the beautiful gown you’ve always wanted to wear and have been waiting for the right occasion!
Can I bring a +1 or children?
As much as we love your little ones our wedding will be a child free event (babes in arms only). Due to limited numbers, only the named invitees are welcome to our day event. There will be extra attendees welcome at the evening celebrations and invites will be delivered soon.
